Abstract

The rapid growth of social media sites has changed the manner in which users communicate and share their information with each other. The social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok provide users with an opportunity to share their personal information along with multimedia information and behavioural patterns of users. The social media sites have provided users with unprecedented connectivity with each other. The collection of data in large quantities by social media sites has given rise to various issues related to social media privacy. This is due to the fact that personal information of users shared by social media sites is liable to be exploited and misused in various ways. The users of social media sites are not aware of the collection, processing, and sharing of personal information with each other. Various issues related to social media privacy have given rise to issues related to social media privacy, which include issues and solution. The objective of this paper is to identify various issues related to social media privacy and solution. This paper would be based on a case study on issues related to social media sites and solution
