Empirical study of the impact of the internet on children in primary school life

Abstract

The internet has become a most important part of children's lives, especially in schools. The internet has helped children learn, communicate with others, and introduce them to new ideas. This study aim’s to explore the effects of the internet on primary school going children in various ways, both good and bad. The internet has helped children learn and Gain knowledge from the internet, as well as connect with their parents in various ways. It has also helped children learn in an entertaining way through internet games and the internet. On the other hand, the internet has also effect to children's lack of concentration, emotional problems, sleep problems, and lack of interest in their friends and family. Children have also shown symptoms of internet addiction, which include detailed evaluation of the screens and complaining when the internet is not available. This study has also explored the effects of the internet on children's health, which include tired eyes and lack of exercise. It has also provided various solutions to help children use the internet in a healthy way to help them grow and learn.
