Survey on various adaptive thresholding techniques in imagesegmentation
Abstract
Thresholding techniques are the key pillars of image processing if one wants to distinguish objects from complex environments. Herein, four types of thresholding strategies are examined which are based on different theories, are practical and popular today, and are advanced. By a thorough literature review, the thresholding techniques, thresholding operation, Evaluation Metrics, Image Processing Techniques and Python code on ROI of binary Image are explained in understandable manner. The article finishes with some main conclusion, which are outlined in this review.
