Abstract

The online shopping provides the people numerous figures of kinds in goods they need. These products are also available at cheaper price than the price available in the original requests. Indeed though there are good security system in online shopping websites, some hackers and unethical mortal beings make fraudulent conditioning while making online shopping by way of transferring damaged goods, playing bank account details etc. Hence people who are making online shopping should have sufficient mindfulness about online shopping and possible fraudulent conditioning while making online shopping.

Online shopping fraud is a type of cybercrime, defined as a deceptive scheme that occurs online, where fraudsters use various tactics to trick individuals into making purchases for nonexistent, counterfeit, or substandard products. These scams often exploit technology and the internet to reach potential victims, promising attractive deals, discounts, or exclusive items. In recent days, online shopping fraud has become a growing trend in cybercrime in India. These scams continually 10 evolve and innovate, with fraudsters adopting new methods and techniques every year to deceive consumers.

Various types of online shopping scam. Online Shopping scam may be a single unit word but it has various interlinked roots Like (Fashion products, electronic products, medicinal products, groceries products, mechanical spares, food delivery) • Fashion products.
